Have you ever been in a situation where you thought to yourself, “Wow, Did I just come face-to-face with Satan?” I think about that a lot of times. Sometimes it may be true, others, well, not so true. Sometimes, it may truly be coming face-to-face with a demon! Yes, my fellow readers…demons are real.
So, what makes me think I’ve just came face-to-face with Satan or one of his demons? Usually other people. I know how that sounds. But it’s true and I only write the truth. As a Christian, to have the spirit inside you, it gets easier to discern other people’s spirit or, should I say, objectives in certain situations. And, sometimes, during those experiences, it’s like a cartoon where the rest of the room goes dark and all you see is a battle against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual forces in high places (Ephesians 6:10-18). It’s kinda creepy, to tell you the truth, when God puts you out there to experience REALITY. It’s like another dimension right next to ours, except, it is inside ours, living with us, and for some, living inside us.
So, what does it take for us as Christians to have one of these moments? I have no idea…Lol. To tell you the truth, I wish I never had these moments. My life would go along so much more smoothly without them. Maybe living in pain has brought me closer to God and that has heightened my senses to what is happening as we speak. Maybe a lot of us do see what is going on but choose to ignore it because it is too much to take in or to admit to ourselves, especially if we are involved in the situation. But whatever the reason, it doesn’t change the fact that it is happening and the only way we can prepare and protect ourselves is to put on the Armor of God. But you can’t do that without reading the Bible because that’s whats going to tell you what the Armor of God is! Ephesians 6:10-18 was one of the first set of verses I memorized as a child. I didn’t understand back then how important they would become later on in my life.
I now know.
‘Till Next Time…
