I know, I know…it’s been a while. I apologize for that. I’ve been working on my next book, The Medallion, which is book one in a Trilogy series called A Christian Mafia. It is about an 18 year old atheist girl who is called by God to share the gospel to the boss of the Italian Mafia. Definitely an original…lol. But that’s not all…
A lot has happened in the past few months. As you already know, earlier this year, my sister had back surgery. A little bit after that, I found out about two herniated disks I have in my neck. I am hoping I won’t have to have surgery until next year so I can finish my book, but it is very painful to write in my condition.
I also have been having a rough time getting up early nowadays because of my back and the medication I’ve been on. This means I’ve been missing tons of church but I do have my trusty sidekick to preach to me…Johnny Mac, or John MacArthur.
Just recently, my doctor changed my medicine and I am waking up earlier and earlier each day so hopefully back to church I go! I can’t wait, I miss it so much. I feel so bad missing so much church. You never realize what you have until it’s gone. It’s so true.
I’ve also been asked to do some paintings for the Veteran’s Artist Program. They are having a contest to put up some art in the pentagon! If you are interested in having your work hang on the Pentagon’s walls, then visit www.veteransartistprogram.org. You will see that I am on the front page! Someone found me on www.veteranswatchdog.com and contacted me about the contest. I’m trying to whip up something new to submit.
I will also be submitting one or two of my photographs! If you would like, you can recommend a photograph that you think I should submit. I would greatly appreciate it. You can take a look at my photos at Captivatephotogallery.wordpress.com.
I will keep you updated on my book and start submitting excerpts of chapter one in a few days.
Until Next time…
